Report:

A closely fought 0-0 draw as a opener to the season against well matched and familiar foes. The game was well contested by both sides with few clear chances on goal for either side. Deddington edged possession, but Garden City possible made more of the possession they had and nearly got the telling pass away on a number of occasions, only for the well- organised Deddington defence, led by DJ Patterson to deny them. James Rawlinson also stood out in mid-field for Deddington, with a dominant display with the head and making numerous well-times tackles. A fair result.
