INTERESTING FACTS:
- This was Tim Spencer and Aaron Bliss' first season in charge of the Reserves, with a high turnover of players and systems.
- The Reserves scored just 42 goals in total this season. They would significantly improve this the following season, though not so much their defensive work. Other than walkovers, the team kept ONE clean sheet all season!
- This was Mikey Large's debut season, at not-so-sweet 16 years old. This was also the season that the Banbury District and Lord Jersey League first saw the monumental defensive talents of Paul Franklin. Legend has it he kept the skulls of his departed opponents in his kitbag before each game to psych him up.
- The season saw Deddington stalwart Adam Kirsopp prematurely hang up his boots, as he concentrated on his supporting duties.
- It was a season of some wallopings, but also walkovers, with two in the Reserves' favour, and one against.
